To Our Families

ALL Funeral Homes in Travis County are effected by the order issued by Travis County Judge Ekhardt. Effective Noon, March 17, 2020 until May 1, 2020 or until the order is modified.

Once again this does not inhibit your ability to make funeral or cremation arrangements, but will hinder any type of public ceremony.

We offer a few suggestions to help during this time:

For families who want Burial Services:

• We will not allow the viewing of any un-embalmed remains that have died from any Communicable Disease. We will still allow for Identification Views to occur for 5 people or less for NON-Contagious remains. We will offer to provide a digital photo of the deceased to the Legal Next or Kin Only for Identification at no additional cost.
• We will allow gatherings of 10 people for viewings of embalmed remains or suggest large families to view in shifts of 10.
• Burial Services can still occur and family be present at the cemetery as long as the guidelines from the County Judge are followed.
• We suggest a Memorial Ceremony Commemorating your loved one's life at a later date or after the Order is lifted.
• We will offer to broadcast the ceremony on Facebook Live for Family members at no additional cost. As long as there is a viable internet or good connection for data transfer.

For families who want Cremation Services:

• We will not allow the viewing of any un-embalmed remains that have died from any Communicable Disease. We will still allow for Identification Views to occur for 5 people or less for NON-Contagious remains. We will offer to provide a digital photo of the deceased to the Legal Next or Kin Only for Identification at no additional cost.
• We will allow gatherings of 10 people for viewings of embalmed remains or suggest large families to view in shifts of 10.
• We suggest to families to postpone any memorial service until after the Order is lifted by the County Judge.
