ALEJANDRO SIFUENTES Alejandro Sifuentes, 35 years young gained his wings on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Alejandro was born on October 5, 1988 in Austin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Salvador and Mary Rojas Sifuentes, uncles Salvador Sifuentes, Jr. and Barney Sifuentes, aunt Blanca Estella Sifuentes. His paternal grandmother, Petra Mendoza of Lampazos de Naranjo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Alejandro is survived by his loving mother and father, San Juanita (Janie) and Abelardo (Lalo) Mata, his sister, Victoria (Roy) Sifuentes, his nephews Julius and Matthew and his niece Natalia. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Abelardo Matta Jaime of Lampazos de Naranjo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He leaves behind his wife and high school sweetheart, Audriana Lawrence, and four daughters: Shyla, Avah, Alyssa, and Sophia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is loved and cherished dearly by his family. To say he will greatly be missed by those who love him is an understatement. We cherish the time he spent with us. The love he gave us is a blessing to remember him by and keep him close to our hearts forever. Alejandro was born and raised in Austin. He was a hardworking and multitalented individual. He never met a stranger, he would to talk and help anyone in need. Alejandro found happiness in fishing, watching movies, BBQing, and traveling. In the brief period he spent with us, he left a lasting impression on all those he met. He was a humble individual who cherished moments spent with family and friends. He took pleasure in assisting others with their home projects as a skilled handyman. Moreover, he possessed a compassionate nature and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Together with his family, he contributed significantly to the growth of a thriving moving company and left a lasting impression on his coworkers and clients. His presence will be greatly missed and his memory cherished by those who loved him and had the privilege of knowing him. Viewing and rosary will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Austin Peel & Son Funeral Home, 607 E Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78752 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E 9th Street, Austin, TX 78702 followed by interment at Onion Creek Memorial Park, 11610 Chapel Lane, Austin, TX 78748. Pallbearers will be his brother-in-law Roy, nephews Julius, and Matthew, along with his cousins Marcelino (CJ) Suniga, Robert Salazar III, and his uncle Joe Valenzuela.
