Badri Meghdadpour Dargahi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Badri Meghdadpour Dargahi, who departed this life on March 07, 2025 at the age of 93. Badri was a respected member of our community, a cherished family member, and a dear friend to many. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Badri was born on June 02, 1931 in Tehran, Iran. Badri's life was a tapestry of love, joy, and dedication. She had an infectious love for big parties and being surrounded by friends, always ensuring that everyone had a good time. Her life in Iran was filled with peace and happiness as she devoted herself to her family, spending precious moments with her boys, extended family, and friends. Badri's adventurous spirit led her to travel frequently; she would visit the States, explore different parts of Iran by train, and take her boys to the Caspian Sea every year for vacations. She cherished her time with Parvis, playing cards, going on walks, and socializing with their friends. In 1992, Badri and Parviz made the courageous decision to move permanently to Austin, Texas. Kamran built their house in Circle C, and Badri transformed it into a warm and loving home. Despite the challenges of moving to a new country, she found immense joy in being close to her three sons, their growing families, and the new friends she made. Badri was a gifted seamstress, renowned for her beautiful wedding dresses. She even taught dressmaking classes, sharing her skills and passion with others. In Iran, she single-handedly built their family home, a testament to her strength and determination. Badri Meghdadpour Dargahi was a devoted wife to Parviz Dargahi and mother to Kamran, Pejman, and Peyman Dargahi. She was predeceased by her husband, Parviz Dargahi, brothers Abbas, Bijan, and Hossain Megdadpour, and her parents, Hassan and Effat Megdadpour. She is survived by her son, Kamran Dargahi and his daughters, Kimia Dargahi, her husband, Ben Saldinger, and Nikki Dargahi; her son, Pejman Dargahi, his wife, Rashel Dargahi, and his daughters, Shereen Marie Dargahi and her children, Laila Elizabeth and James Dargahi Bledsoe, and Negeen Dargahi; Her son, Peyman Dargahi, his wife, Regina Buttross Dargahi, his children, Sophia Grace Dargahi and Alexander Michael Dargahi. She cherished family gatherings and consistently made time for her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Badri was well loved and was always known as a kind and caring person. She always wanted to make sure everyone around her felt love and had a wonderful time. A memorial service to celebrate Badri's life will be held on March 11, 2025 at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association in Badri’s honor. The family of Badri extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support and condolences during this difficult time. Badri’s memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration. Rest peacefully, dear Badri-jun. Your presence will be profoundly missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
