Ernestine (Tina) Butler-Wilson

Ernestine (Tina) Butler-Wilson was born January 22, 1946, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Queen Esther Clark and the late Lenard Butler Sr. Ernestine grew up in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where she attended Rosa A. Temple High School. She enjoyed her childhood as she grew up with so many siblings. Ernestine loved to travel, cook, host others and “was the life of the party”!!! During mid-adulthood, she transitioned to being the matriach of the famliy. She enjoyed taking care of others as she dedicated her life to being of service and serving others. She thrived from contributing to the lives of everyone she shared a relationship with. Her faith was strong and she contiously gave God all the glory for keeping and protecting her throughout her fulfi lled lifetime. Ernestine’s most valuable human being on earth was her son, William Charles Butler Sr.. As a mother, Tina spent her lifetime committed to loving, providing for and spoiling her only child. Every step of the way throughout the lifetime they shared with one another, she was always there for him. One of the greatest joys he has brought to her life is the extension of her, her four grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. She leaves here on earth to continue living life to the fullest as she did, reaping the fruits of her labor: Her only child, son William Charles Butler Sr.; daughter-in- law, Sheila L. Butler; four grandchildren: William Charles Butler Jr., Nikkida ShaVon Butler, Beyonce Charise Butler, William Charles Butler III (Tre); eight great grandchildren: Shanazua A. Butler, Shavon A. Butler, Shaleen A. Butler, Gracelyn N. Butler, William Charles Butler III (Will), Jacob C. Butler, Jesse C. Butler and Anais J. Butler, all of Austin, Texas. Her siblings: Robert Clark [Robbie, Kenny, Boo, *Derrick, Darrell, Lorenzo, Leatha Ann], Barbara J. Butler [Michael & Angela Butler, Rickey Butler], Debra Kay Clark [Tory, Demeko, CorTina, April, Dauphney], Helen Clark all of Austin, TX; Elvis Austin Butler, Derrick Dewayne Butler, Percy Bell all of Vicksburg, MS, Lenard Butler Jr., Cedric Earl Butler both of Detroit, MI, Carolyn Butler, Deborah L. Butler, Senbia Butler all of Vicksburg, MS and Velva Gullette of Detroit, MI. She departed from the earthly world on April 1, 2023 at the age of seventy-seven years old. She was preceded in death by her mother *Queen Esther Clark, her father *Lenard Butler Sr., fi ve brothers *Eddie Ray Butler Sr. (Eunice) *Larry Eugene Butler, *Melvin (Ray) Butler, *Charles Hughes, and *Houston Hughes, and three sisters *Gloria Jean Wilson [Brenda, Ben (June), Larry], *Sharon Butler, and *Zelie Marie Butler. *Proceeded in Death
