Ingrid Arn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Ingrid F. Arn. After a long and courageous battle, she was called to join our Heavenly Father on January 5, 2023 Aside from being a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious mother she was also a daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. No matter what name you knew her by (Mum, Grami, Nani, G.G., Iggy, Ingie, etc…etc…etc) she will be greatly missed. She touched so many lives in her 73 years of life. Many were friends of her children that she loved and cared for as if they were her own. Her priority was ensuring we were always happy and never shied from letting us know when we were making “not so good” decisions (never shy). She is known for her amazing voice and especially singing Patsy Cline songs. “Crazy” was her specialty. Always ready with a story or joke (a gift she got from her father) she was never shy about being the life of the party (never shy). No matter what was thrown her way, her faith never faltered, and she would whole-heartedly tell you that without her faith in God she would not have made it through many of those tough days. She is survived by her son M.J. Arn and his family (daughter-in-law Tabatha Arn, granddaughter Emylie Samuelson and her husband Kyle and great granddaughter Jolie and grandson Zachary Arn) and her daughter Heather M. Miller and her family (son-in-law Brant Miller, granddaughter Michaella Miller and grandson Brady Miller). She also leaves behind brothers Michael, Jonathan, and Charles along with sisters Ursula, Heidi, and Muriel, many nieces, and nephews which she adored, not to mention all those she called her friends that were very much an extension of her family. She was predeceased by her son, Brandon Christopher Arn, her sister Suzanne Powderly, her father Charles Palmatier and mother Helga Palmatier. There will be a funeral at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 10 a.m. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31”
