Michael Ray Johnson, 26, left us suddenly on March 19, 2025, leaving a void that words can’t fully express. Though his time here was far too short, Michael’s light, his laugh, and his love touched everyone lucky enough to know him. Born on January 10, 1999, in Arlington, Texas, Michael grew up as part of a tight-knit family raised by a powerhouse of a single mother. Life wasn’t always smooth, but Felicia taught her kids to lean on faith, to stay strong, and to keep pushing forward no matter what. Michael’s siblings, especially his sisters, stepped up to help raise and guide him through life’s challenges. Together, they built a bond that was as unshakable as it was unbreakable. Michael was one of the realest ones—a guy’s guy through and through. Loyal, funny, laid-back, and always showing up for his people. He had a smile that could light up a room and an undeniable passion for the open road, whether it was driving muscle cars, riding motorcycles, or just being in motion. The roar of an engine and the freedom of the ride brought him to life. Windows down, music blasting, and a car full of good vibes—that was Michael’s sanctuary. Music was his soul, always playing the perfect soundtrack for every moment. Michael also had a serious appetite for life—and food. Let’s be real, there wasn’t a dish we cooked that he wouldn’t smash. Michael loved family gatherings, good food, and a good party. Whether it was a simple meal or a full-blown celebration, Michael made it better just by being there. He also found his groove working at a tattoo warehouse in Austin, where his love for ink and self-expression came to life. He had an artistic side and loved being surrounded by people who got him. Michael leaves behind his loving mother, Felicia Baker (Killeen, TX), and his siblings: • Starr Williams (34, Denver, CO) • Imoni Bass (Dallas, TX) • Chassity Baker (28, Dallas, TX) • Michael “Tra” Johnson (25, Fort Worth, TX) • Jordon Johnson (24, Killeen TX) • Miesha Johnson (35, Watauga, TX) He was the proud uncle of his twin niece and nephew, Kingsleigh and Kalleigh, as well as his older nephew, Jaedyn, who all loved their Uncle Michael like no other. He also leaves behind his aunts, a host of cousins, his best friend Jessie, and countless lifelong friends who’ll never forget the memories they made with him. Michael was preceded in death by his Grandad, Melvin Baker, who lovingly gave him the nickname “Mike Mike,” and his Granny, Doris Baker. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM – Location to be announced soon. Flowers are welcome to be sent to Central Texas Cremation in Killeen or Austin, TX.
