Tina Messer

My mother, Tina Messer, went to be with our Lord on July 31st after a difficult and long battle with her congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. Tina was 48 and surrounded by the love of her family, friends and caretakers as she peacefully released the bonds of this earthly life for an eternal one in His Kingdom. She was, born to Darrell Messer and Rosalee Garker on September 02, 1975 in Paris, Texas, becoming one of the youngest of 10 children. She had many lasting friendships that were shared when she worked tirelessly for 30+ years in customer service. My mother loved her family and with a Heart of Gold no matter the difficulties she had to endure throughout her lifetime. Mom had a passion for fashion, enjoying the gentle breezes of the Lakes of Austin and the Beaches of Corpus Christi, she may have been a water baby but she would leap at the chance to go swimming to not only clear her head but to enjoy the wonders of floating freely in the waves of the water and mom always liked listening to music and singing. She especially liked listening to music when she cooks and boy does she know how to throw down in the kitchen and on the grill. She may have loved the party life but she loved spending time with her loved ones and close friends even more. Tina joins, her parents, Darrell and Rosalee, my great grandparents, my uncle Mark, my cousin Steven and all those that have gone before us greeted her at Heavens gate as one of many of the Lords angel’s. Some of my mother’s hobbies included cooking with a passion, going to get her hair done, having her nails done, swimming, listening to music, having fun with her family and friends whenever she was feeling up to it, staying positive and helping those in need. Our mother loved her two sons, Deryk Mitchell and Dontae Henderson, and her two daughters, Amanda Breare and Monique McDaniel. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine their way.
