Vickey Lynn Bracamontez

Vickey Lynn Vincent Bracamontez passed away rejoicefully, during holy week, on Saturday April 16, 2022, at her residence in Georgetown, TX. She was 63 years of age. Vickey was born on August 25, 1958, in Evansville, IN to her father Ralph Leland VIncent, and mother Ruth Imogene Lang. She was later fostered by the Davenports, who were the greatest influence of her life by instilling her faith and trust in Jesus at an early age of 12. Vickey graduated high school from North Poseyville in 1976, and began working for the welfare department of Vanderburgh County. Soon after graduating, she married Steven Kissel of 25 years. They had two children, Jonathan and Jennifer. She later remarried in 2004 to Gabriel Bracamontez of 18 years. Vickey provided great customer service throughout her career, took pride in cleaning homes, and eventually retired from the Williamson County Tax Office after approximately 6 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bird watching, arts and crafts with her grandchildren, playing board games and scrapbooking. One of her favorite places to travel was to Disney World. Her love for hosting family gatherings was dear to her heart. Vickey, a cheerleader for God, had a passion for reading and studying God’s word. She wrote spiritual poems and enjoyed praying for others. She was always unselfish and very generous of her time spent giving to others. Vickey is survived by her husband, Gabriel Bracamontez, father-in-law - Joe Bracamontez, mother-in-law - Mary Bracamontez, her adult children - Jonathan Kissel (wife - Amy Kissel), Jennifer Kissel Penko (husband - Josh Penko), adult stepchildren - Victor Bracamontez (fiance - Shelbi Johnson), Amanda Bracamontez, Anastasia Bracamontez Escalara (husband - Sergio Escalara), 10 grandchildren - Mason, Brock, Joshua, Juanito, Chloe, Jeremiah, Elias, Issac, Alex, Isabella. She is survived by many others, including siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many loving friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the medical doctors, staff and hospice of Baylor Scott and White for their services and excellent care provided.
