William Boyd (Billy) Underhill Jr.

William Boyd (Billy) Underhill, Jr., age 54, passed from this life on Nov. 26, 2016. He was born January 22, 1962, to William Boyd Underhill, Sr. and Llana Webster Underhill. He is survived by his wife Carole Long, son Cody D. Underhill, brother Robert L. Underhill, Sr. and wife Jennifer Murdock Underhill. He also leaves several step children, Nikki Crews Smith and husband Gary, Taylor Sughrue, Kaitlyn Sughrue, Megan and husband David Collins, Sarah Long Albright and husband Jesse Albright, Gus Long, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William (Boyd) Underhill, Sr. and his previous wife Brenda Crews Underhill. He was a master mason and took pride in his work. He loved playing the guitar and singing. There are people put in this world with a purpose. Whether they know it or not, they can leave quite an imprint with people they barely know. Billy had a way of doing this, and we realize that now, more than ever. Whether it was twenty minutes sitting next to him on a stool in a bar, or twenty years working by his side, he was loved by each person he encountered. He was always willing to help the friends and family that needed it, not only to put cash in their pockets, but also to teach them the things he had learned in his life. There was never a dull moment even when the work got hard. Nothing was too serious that we couldn't make a joke about it to make time go by faster. The laughs and smiles that he was able to bring to our faces so easily, that is what will be engraved in our hearts. Random living room gatherings with singing and guitar playing, or just mocking whatever was on TV at that point in time won't be the same without Billy by our sides. It was never a quiet place to be. Being in his presence made people happy. The aura that he exuded is what we will remember. He brightened the atmosphere just by walking in and everyone knew there was about to be a great time. These are hard features to find, and to pull it off with such style, that is what made knowing him an amazing experience. So as we do say our goodbyes in our own ways, it is very easy to remember the laughs, lessons and good times that he instilled in our minds and hearts. This is what we'll always remember most and hold dear. Memorial and Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Milburn Park, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd., Cedar Park, Texas 78613.
