Meyer, Great grandparents Winnie R. York, Alvena M. and husband Rube Landua, Robert A. Adams and Helen M. Baker along with her cousin Joseph Basquette. Amy is survived by her mother Jacquolynn Landua Meyer, father Roy Andon Meyer and wife Glenda R., sister Amanda C. Ketterer and husband John C. Ketterer, along with brother in law Marvin G. Ketterer, Brother and step-sister Andrew M. and Leah J. Meyer, Grandparents John A. and Paula R. Landua, Louese C. Meyer, Aunts Mary J. Lobodzinky and Winna D. Landua, Uncles Patrick E., Timothy L., Michial L. and wife Coleen Meyer along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins and a nephew on the way. Amy was born in Georgetown, Texas on October 29, 1979. She attended Hutto High School where she received in her Sophomore year the Who's Who award. She played Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Track and Field, JV Cheerleader and played the clarinet in the H.S Band. She received her GED and attended Austin Community College where she received her EMT-B. She then proceeded on to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi where she received her Bachelors degree in Bio-Medical Sciences with a minor in Philosophy. While attending TAMUCC she held a 4.0 GPA and did research on the link between Meningitis and Cortisol. Amy worked under Dr. Waldbeser and helped run her lab. Amy was also the Secretary of the Philosophy Club and later on the Vice-President. Amy once said that if she could spend her life doing one thing that would be surfing. She loved science and would collect bugs as specimens for research and her own personal collection. Amy at one point built a butterfly garden in her grandma's backyard because she loved them so much. She loved nature and always tried to surround herself in it. Amy was once asked why she loved attending TAMUCC and her response was because she could look out onto the ocean. She supported Green Peace and Earth Justice and even helped to save the Sea Turtles. She also loved to shop especially for clothes and shoes and loved to cook at home. While Amy may have been busy with her own life she was still a family oriented and loved sending time with her family along with her beloved doxin Lexi who is loyal to this day. Amy had a heart of gold and would help anyone in there time of need. She was loved by all and touched many peoples lives. She spent the last year of her life taking care of her dying grandfather whom she loved so very much. Amy will be missed so very much. She maybe gone but will never be forgotten. To Amy: To my beloved baby girl, we may have had our ups and downs but we always knew that we would always be there for each other no matter what. I will miss your laugh your beautiful smile your perky little nose and your warm hugs. I will love you forever. Mom I love you so very much. Dad There are to many things to say and I cant walk out my backdoor without seeing that garden and all the trips to constructions site for materials for the butterfly garden you created. The half finished afghan that was for you that I will give to your nephew in your name and the froggy pull string you hung from my kitchen fan. There are so many memories I cant decide on one I love you and will never forget you. Maw-Maw I have lost my partner in crime and my only sister. I have to many memories to share and not enough time with you and I'm forever grateful you are my sister. I will forever carry you with me and so will your Nephew. Chrissy I loved you whether you were my friend or sister. John Peace, Love And Butterflies!
