Jerry Dean Cantrell, 78, of Kingsland, Texas earned his wings Thursday, July 14, 2022. He was born September 3, 1943 to the late Charlie and Maggie Cantrell in Cedar Park, Tx. Jerry loved fishing especially with his grandkids. He loved building and racing drag cars. And enjoyed a spin around a dance floor to a good country song. He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Maggie and Charlie Cantrell. His sister, Edna Faye Maynard and brothers, Bill Cantrell and Nelson Cantrell. Jerry left behind his children, Charlie Cantrell of Kingsland, Tx, Deanna Owens of Ingleside, Tx, Jerry “Dean” Cantrell of Kingsland, Tx, Joshua Rosa of Austin, Tx, Tammie Cantrell of Idaho, Jo Marie Halbert of Burnet, Tx, Christine Byington of Altus, Ok, and Coral Rosa of Texas. He was blessed with and loved very deeply his grandchildren, Charlie Cantrell, Courtney Strong, Jimmy Skinner, Nick Handsel, Sabrina Handsel, Michael Eichner, LD Cantrell, Kaylynn Cantrell, Shyanne Dunkers, Lyla and Tristan, Rachel Gransbury, Samantha Barba, Brandon Zentner, Josh Pratt, Cody Byington and Kimber Byington. Many great-grandbabies. Lots of cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. Jerry was laid too rest at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
