Jesse Rene Villarreal Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jesse Rene Villarreal, 76, of Muldoon, was called home to the Lord on Saturday May 14, 2022. He was born in Beeville, Texas on August 3, 1945, to Leopoldo and Hilaria (Cantu) Villarreal. In 1964, he became a proud Marine and completed two tours in Vietnam. Once he returned home to Beeville, he attended Bee County College and received a degree in Design and Drafting. As a Marine he had a true passion for the Shooting Sports, and he graciously shared his knowledge, expertise and safety training with any friends and family. He also enjoyed taking his Classic Mustang to car shows as well as spending time on his tractor, tending his livestock, and numerous construction projects. He married the love of his life Vivian Bailey on April 29, 1983, and they shared many projects and adventures in their 39 years of marriage. He is survived by his wife Vivian Villarreal, brothers Leo Villarreal, Muldoon, Johnny Villarreal and Anna, Houston, Anthony Villlarreal and wife Liz, Houston; son Erik R Villarreal, Houston, granddaughter Elena Villarreal, great granddaughter Selena Villarreal, Kansas City, and numerous dear nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Leopoldo and Hilaria Villarreal, sister and brother-in-law Irma and Alfonso Tijerina, son Anthony R Villarreal Sr, grandson Anthony R Villarreal Jr, and brother Robert Villarreal. Memorial contributions may be made to Flatonia Baptist Church, P.O. Box 305, Flatonia, TX 78941 or a charity of one’s choice. There will be a celebration of his life on June 25, 2022 at 11 am at Flatonia Baptist Church.
