Lottie Hoskins Becker passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones in Elgin, Texas on December 21, 2020. She was born in Smithville, Texas to Elvin Hoskins and Dorothy Adams York. The only girl of 5 children. Lottie lived in numerous places over her lifetime, but chose Elgin to settle down. She was a proud supporter of the towns heritage and could be seen at festivals all over the county with one or more of her grand kids. She loved the outdoors, family and friends, including many pets. Lottie was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, her prescence and wisdom wil be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband Major Kenneth Becker, her eldest brother Elvin Hoskins Jr., and both parents. She is survived by her 3 sons; Shane Yancey and wife Kim of West Monroe, LA, Lynn Chambers and wife Laura of Elgin, Texas, Mike Chambers of Elgin, Texas. Two step children; Jerry and Billy Lunsford both from Jarrell, Texas, Three brothers; Fred Hoskins and wife JoAnn from Lockhart, Texas, James Hoskins from Tyler, Texas, and Cecil Don from Smithville, Texas. 7 grandkids,1 greatgrandchild and two on the way, her beloved per Hercules, along with many relatives and friends, too many to mention here, but please know she loved you all. Cremation is provided by Afforable Cremation in Austin,Tx A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
