Lynette Ann Detjens

August 14, 1952 - January 28, 2020

Lynette "Lyn" Ann Detjens, 67, was called to her heavenly home on January 28, 2020; five months after surviving a major cardiac event and successfully completing her cardiac rehab. Her love and devotion to her family and friends and her strong relationship with God supported her in challenging times and brought her great peace. Lyn was born on August 14, 1952, in Merrill, Wisconsin. On December 29, 1979, she married the love of her life and best friend, Claude. Lyn and her daughter Donna were blessed and warmly welcomed into the Detjens family. Lyn followed the Lord faithfully; she touched many lives through Christian ministry and brought great joy to many by sharing the word of God. She will forever be remembered for her devotion and service to the Lord, resilience, sense of humor and infectious laugh. Lyn truly was a beautiful gift from God, both inside and out. Lyn is greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. We celebrate that she is at peace with her Heavenly Father; free from earthly struggles and blissfully, perfectly happy. We know we will be reunited again one day. Lyn is survived by her Husband of 40 years, Claude Detjens, Austin TX. Daughter, Donna (Ronald) Sletten, Elgin, MN.
