Mary Susan ( Hines) Carlisle aged 68 passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 after a heroic battle with cancer. Sue was born In Southern California on August 11,1953 to James and Helen Hines. She fell in love with country life when she moved to her mother’s hometown in Oenaville, Texas over 20 years ago. Being the kind, loving, funny, and selfless person she was, she was quickly accepted into the community where she grew to become the town Mom. Sue was a compassionate and giving woman who always went above and beyond for humans and animals in need, without fail. As a mother she was compassionate, forgiving, and unwavering in her love. Her grandkids describe her as tough woman who was equally kind and never let anybody down, shielding others from pain despite her own. Someone who devoted herself to those she loved, and that truly is who she was. Sue met the love her of life Larry Carlisle who she described as her rock, and together lived a life that was nothing short of extraordinary. Sue dedicated most of her time to her husband, grandchildren and family and friends. Her hobbies included gardening, nurturing animals of all sorts, and seeing the potential in things others could not. Her determination and creativity knew no bounds. She was an irreplaceable, unique light in everyone’s life who knew her, she will forever be missed and the lasting impression she left will live on forever. Sue is preceded in Death by her parents, James Hines, Helen Hines, Her children; Justin Dalhover and Alana Dalhover. She is survived by her husband, Larry Carlisle; her grandchildren Jastin Dalhover, Jacelynn Dalhover, Calli Dalhover, Kamber Dalhover and Bryan Roy, Her sisters; Teresa Clark and Samantha Klapp and her daughter Brenda Dalhover as well as an abundance of family and friends
