Peggy Ruth Schlosser , 75 of Austin, Passed Away Novermber 16, 2018 Born September 28, 1943 to Johnny and Claudia Phinney. Peggy was a loving caring individual that would give of herself without hesitation, if she saw someone in need. Her early years were hard on her never knowing her biological father, having been killed in WW2. She wore many hats during her life, from Bartender to restaurant owner, and even got her pilots license, in her twenties. Peggy was a determined young woman, that at one point, having found the man she was married to , had tied her children up in the living room. Drove from Jackson Hole Wy. all the way to Florida to get away from him, to keep her children safe. Which is a good example of her tenacity. Her true passion in life was art becoming an accomplished painter, in both oils and acrylics. She enjoyed a good game of pool, fun, and having friends close. Peggy is survived by two children, Tracy Johnston, and Paige Hartman, four grand children, Jackie, Amber ,Javan and Javier, and two great grandchildren, Ashton and Braden. Along with her biological children Peggy was also loved by her step children, Anita , Jimmy, Chris, and their children, Connor and, Sierra. We all loved her, and there will always be an empty spot where she fit into our lives.
