Donenne "Dede" Marie Webb

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of DeDe Marie Webb, a fiercely dedicated mother, fun loving woman, and a dedicated servant to the people of Texas. DeDe’s life came to an end on August 9th, 2026 in her residing city, Round Rock, Texas. The world was blessed with her for 64 years. DeDe, born on June 22nd, 1962 to Judy Pate & Don Worthan in Big Spring, TX, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. DeDe went on to graduate from Hillsboro High in 1979 as the captain of the twirling team. After graduating from high school, DeDe proudly went on to pursue a degree in Communications at the University of Texas, Austin. DeDe’s brilliance led her to a 25 year career where she served the people of Texas at the Texas Workforce Commission, where she retired as the Grants Coordinator, and previously acted as the Spokeswoman and Communications Department Manager. In addition to her professional accomplishments, DeDe was known for her energetic personality, and infectious laughter. She was incredibly passionate about nature, taking particular interest in sea turtle rehabilitation, oceanic restoration, and was an active member in the Wild Earth conservation community. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill, though her legacy will live on by all who had the privilege of knowing her. DeDe’s passion and love for others, and her joyous light will forever live on and be celebrated by her daughter, Jessica, brother Joe Don and wife Candy, sister Jeneen and husband Rick, nieces/nephews, Zakery, Nicholas, Trey, Tucker, Addison, Julianna, as well as her mother and second father, Judy and Larry. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Worthan, and her grandparents, Marie and Wayne Pate. DeDe’s celebration of life will be held on August 30th, from 1:30pm - 3pm, at the Salina’s Event Center, 1900 E Howard Ln, Building 5, Pflugerville, 78660. Family is encouraged to arrive at 1pm. If you are sending an arrangement, they can either be delivered on Sunday between 12:30-1pm directly to the Salina’s event center, 1900 E Howard Ln, Building 5, Pflugerville, 78660.
