Kiona Enriqueta Gaines

Kiona Enriqueta Gaines, of Austin and Killeen, Texas passed away unexpectedly on October 21st. She was only 25 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by her loss. She was a bright star in this often difficult world and will be deeply missed by those of us fortunate enough to have known her. Kiona was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend. She meant so much to so many. She was always laughing, with a laugh that was contagious and could lighten the mood in any room that she walked into. Her light heartedness could make even the darkest days bright and everyone feel at ease. Kiona never missed an opportunity to let you know how much she loved you, whether it was a simple morning song or a silly meme or a tiktok video with no explanation, you knew how she felt and that she was thinking about you. She had a love for animals which led her to become a Veterinary Technician. Kiona particularly loved cats, especially her two cats, Kitten Tarantino and Wednesday. We may have lost an amazing spirit here on earth but heaven has gained a special angel. She was a kind and beautiful soul who will be forever loved, forever missed and forever remembered. Kiona is reunited with her grandmother Gladys Gaines. She is survived by her Parents, Cynthia and Dennis Traylor and Robert and Lori Gaines, her sisters, Brianna Gonzalez and Jasmine Jorden, her brother, Jonathan Daye, her nieces, Stella, Liala and Chrislynn Salazar and Khloe Jorden, her grandparents, Jesus Jr. and Mary Govea and Sara Holt, her aunt and uncle, Monica and Brandon Roberts, her uncles, Marcos Govea, Jesse Gaines and Ruben Gaines, her aunts Leetha Gaines and Cindy Vassuer, her cousins, Amaris Govea, Avery, Jaxon and Adeline Roberts, Maya Govea, Maria Vassuer and several other cousins, great aunts and uncles who loved her dearly. “Gone too soon, yet forever in our hearts, our little angel.” -Momma loves you, my twitchy witchy girl.❤️ “May Jehovah bless you and safeguard you.
