Mario Gaytan Galvan

Mario Gaytan, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025. Born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila on July 16, 1949, Mario lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband to the late Maria Elena Gaytan, with whom he shared a beautiful life until her passing on April 1, 2020. Together they raised two children, whom he loved dearly and supported with every ounce of his being. Though his work was physically demanding and left little free time, Mario always made it a priority to create joyful memories with his children—whether at a park, a creek, or a favorite swimming spot. Time spent near the water was his happy place, especially when surrounded by his family. Mario was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren, each of whom he adored and did everything he could to bring joy to. His love for them was boundless, and he took great pride in being a source of laughter, support, and comfort in their lives. Though his siblings lived far away, Mario cherished every opportunity to reunite with them. Family was everything to him, and he never missed a chance to be present with those he loved. A man of grit and determination, Mario spent most of his life working in a laborious and demanding job—never complaining, never faltering. His work ethic was unmatched, and he had a reputation for outworking and outsmarting anyone who stood beside him. He took pride in doing his job well and providing for his family with honor. Above all else, Mario will be remembered for his selflessness, his quiet strength, and the deep love he carried for his family. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of resilience, joy, and unconditional love lives on in all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Falcon Family Funeral and Cremation Service on April 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All who knew and loved Mario are invited to attend and celebrate his extraordinary life.
