Patricia "Pat" Mae MacKay

Patricia “Pat” Mae Kollman MacKay Patricia MacKay went to her final rest on December 21, 2016. Her joyful spirit will live on in all of us. Pat was born on March 15, 1933 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to her parents, Edmund Kollman (died June 18, 1974) and Victoria Walenciak (died July 31, 1974). Her brother; Ronald Kollman – born April 22, 1936 (died May 20, 2008). Pat graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin on June 8, 1951. She then attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she studied and began her nursing career. She loved working for Dr. Charles Pechous, Sr. Pat married Charles Ray MacKay (died March 25, 2015) on August 9, 1958 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Mass was officiated by Chuck’s friend Dick Thomas. St. Catherine’s Hospital in Kenosha Wisconsin held a special place in Pat’s heart. Not only was she was born there, but she worked there and all five of her children were born there. Pat is survived by her five children, Patrick (born June 14, 1959) – spouse Jana (Resides in Dallas, Texas), Mike (born March 13, 1961) (Resides in Baltimore, Maryland), Tom (born April 14, 1964) – spouse Cecilia (Resides in Austin, Texas), Kathy (born October 5, 1966) – spouse David Lutz (Resides in Austin, Texas), and John (born September 17, 1967) (Resides in Dallas, Texas). She has ten grandchildren; Nicolas (Nico) MacKay, Micaela (Mica) MacKay, Caleb MacKay, Sayla MacKay, Jacey MacKay, Sterling MacKay, Austin MacKay, Camilla MacKay, Megan Lutz, and Matthew Lutz. Her brother-in-law, Jim MacKay. Her sister-in-law, Fran Kollman, Her daughter-in-laws, Lola delValle, Kratina MacKay . Nephews; Jim MacKay, Steve Kollman, Chris Kollman, Cale Kollman. Nieces; Cindy Monien, Sue Goldman, Ronda DeAngelis. And of course her life-long friends Bob & Rosalie Gentile. Services for Pat are scheduled for Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9500 Neenah Avenue, Austin, Texas 78717. Rev. Edward C. Koharchik presiding. Rosary at 10:30 am in the Daily Chapel and Mass at 11:00 am in the Church. Her interment is scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2 pm in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
