Travis William Burch

Travis William Burch, 50, of Harker Heights, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1973, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Travis, known affectionately by his preferred name Travis, was a loving husband, father, and a man with a big heart. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and cherished his family above all else. Travis is survived by his wife, Cherry Laguerta Burch, and their son, Joshua Laguerta Burch, both of Harker Heights, Texas. He is also survived by his mother and father, Cathy Burch and Jim Burch, his sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Paul Henderson of Purcell, Oklahoma, his brothers and sisters-in-laws, Jimmy and Shelly Burch, and Jeff (Bo) and Shawna Burch of Davis Oklahoma. Additionally, Travis leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins (Satterfield Family) who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Ollie and Liz Oliver of Tennessee. Travis attended Casper Wyoming Primary School and later graduated from Puree Tennessee High School. Following his graduation, Travis proudly served in the Navy from 1991 to 1998, where he honed his skills and dedicated himself to the service of his country. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Travis embarked on a career at a military base located in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It was there that he not only excelled professionally but also met the love of his life, Cherry. Together, they started their family before returning to the United States, where they settled in Harker Heights, Texas, in 2016. In his free time, Travis enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing with his loving dog, Hasey, and most importantly, spending quality time with his cherished family. He found solace and joy in nurturing his plants, exploring new destinations, and creating beautiful memories with his loved ones. Travis William Burch will be deeply missed by his family, family in the Philippines, close friends (Dees family), and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. His legacy of love and compassion will forever be remembered. Rest in peace, Travis. You will always hold a special place in all our hearts
