    Robert J. Falcon, Founder- Funeral Director, Embalmer, Certified Crematory Operator

    Robert was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in south Austin. He attended grade school, Fulmore Jr. High, and Graduated from William B. Travis High School. He attended St. Edward’s University and began his funeral service career in 1986 at one of the premier funeral home’s in Austin.Robert graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas in 1989. In 1992 citing the need for affordable services he opened his first funeral business. He became known for the most affordable services in the area.In 2000, A leading national consumer publication named Robert’s funeral business, as the ‘most affordable in the Austin market’. In 2003 he sold the firm and left the Austin business he founded.Robert is a licensed Texas Funeral Director/ Embalmer, Certified Crematory Operator,Advanced Care Planning Certification from Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, In 2005 he founded www.centraltexascremation.com and became a pioneer in the online cremation information field. Robert for the past 30 years has been a vocal advocate for consumer rights and education. He was rewarded for his efforts in 2009 when he was asked to serve on the Board of Directors of the Funeral Ethics Organization in Hinesburg, VT. He founded Affordable Burial & Cremation Service in 2011. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, La Grange City Cemetery and former advisory Board member at Amarillo College-Mortuary program. He has been recognized as one of the leaders in the Cremation industry and Consumer advocacy. Robert lives in Austin with his Wife, Sons, and Daughter. He is very active in the day to day operations of the funeral home and looks forward to letting his expertise help your family.

    Lorie was born and raised in Austin, She graduated from Lanier High School. She is married to Robert J. Falcon and has 3 children. She works for the State of Texas Department of Public Safety in the Customer Service section. Lorie assist with funeral services and providing administrative support to our families.
